Look out for the special Offers

You'll have no difficulty finding the Village Shop - signposts now point the way from the main street to the corner of Ladeside and Greenbank Road.

Our local shopkeepers are Mark, Russell and Joseph - and of course we mustn't forget the dogs. Since moving here from down south, they have become an important part of our community in many more ways than simply keeping us supplied with bread and milk.

Fresh produce has returned to the shop - potatoes, carrots, onion, eggs, with a new large freezer also supplying frozen cauliflower, broccoli and other vegetables. Pre-order your bakery needs - birthday cakes etc - and don't forget Fresh Cream Cakes Friday.

A Pay Point machine now provides telephone top ups, plus a method of paying household bills such as the council tax and TV licence. Make your donation here for Children in Need!

The new notice board is always full of interesting details about upcoming events, contacts for local tradesmen, items for sale or wanted. Please keep your posters as small as possible (A5 is good) as space is at a premium.

On the inside rack, you'll find copies of the Glenfarg Newsletter. The Cookery Editor (Janet!) liaises with the shop to ensure that the ingredients for her recipes will be available to you. And the newsletter also contains information on the latest Special Offers in the shop.
